The client will have a clear understanding of the cost before the project begins. Designer retains ownership of design and web space until payment is completed.

COST PER PAGE DESIGN

The cost for the first page designed is $499.00 US. Additional pages may cost $50-$100, depending on length and time spent on design.

WHAT DEFINES A WEB PAGE?

A web site consists of many different web pages. Every web site has a home page (index page). The rest of the site is made up of inner pages, such as:

• About Us
• Contact Us
• Articles
• Products
• FAQs
• Terms of use

Creating customized layout and graphics is a process that involves time and creativity. The amount of time it takes to design a new project can vary greatly depending on the client’s needs. The final cost of the project will be predetermined before design begins.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• Rough drafts of the web site and revisions (until client approves).
• Simple script programming, such as navigation buttons, “print this” links and “bookmark this” links
• Pop-up windows
• Addition of company logo and any pictures that client provides
• Contact forms
• Cross-browser compatibility
• Unlimited links
• Upload of completed web site to the server

Other costs not included in design rates:

• Domain name (free with hosting)
  Your domain name is the address of your web site, for example, http://www.website.com.
• Hosting ($150-$500, depending on client needs)
  Hosting is the space on the internet that holds your web site’s contents.
• Photos ($50 an hour, 1 hour minimum)
  Price includes taking the photograph, travel to site, uploading and storing the photos.
• Web maintenance ($50 an hour, charged in 30-min. increments)
  Maintenance includes adding, removing or changing text, adding articles, reports or links to existing pages and adding logos, photographs or images. This does not apply to changes to client’s existing design or redesigning entire pages or sites.
• Logo/Graphic design ($50 an hour)

A free, no-obligation quote for the total cost of the site creation will be provided to the client after initial meeting.
